Good Faith Estimate

Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to know what your care will cost before you receive it. If you're uninsured, or insured but not using your insurance for therapy, I'm required to give you a written estimate of expected charges — and I'd give you one regardless.

You have the right to receive that estimate in writing at least one business day before a scheduled service, and you can ask for one at any point before scheduling. If the final bill is at least $400 more than the estimate, you can dispute it.

Therapy is open-ended by nature, so the estimate is built from a rate and an expected range of sessions, and it's revised if the plan changes. Current rates: $185 per 60-minute session, $210 for the initial assessment, $260 for a 90-minute extended session.

To request yours, email hello@stillwateremdr.com or call (828) 555-0142. For questions about your rights, visit cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.

Here's the form with my current rates already filled in. Print it, keep it, or bring it to the consult. It generates on your device — nothing is sent anywhere.

A consult is a conversation, not a commitment.

Fifteen minutes, no paperwork, no pitch. If I'm not the right fit, I'll tell you who is.
